1. About Funkie

Funkie is a free mobile application and website that helps users discover local activities and experiences in Slovenia. These terms govern your use of the Funkie app (available on iOS and Android), the website at funkie.si, and any related services (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Using Funkie

You can use Funkie as a guest (no account needed) or create an account with your email address. To create an account, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Provide a valid email address
  • Use the Service in compliance with these terms and applicable law

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at info@funkie.si.

3. What Funkie provides

Funkie is an information and discovery platform. We aggregate publicly available information about local activities and experiences to help you find things to do.

Important things to understand:

  • We are not a booking platform. We don't process payments or reservations.
  • Activity information (prices, opening hours, ratings) may not always be up to date. Always verify directly with the activity provider.
  • We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of any listed activity.
  • Ratings and descriptions are provided for informational purposes only.

4. Acceptable use

When using Funkie, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service in bulk
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission

5. Intellectual property

The Funkie name, logo, design, and underlying code are our intellectual property. Activity data displayed in the app is compiled from public sources and provider submissions.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Limitation of liability

Funkie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of activity information
  • We are not liable for any issues that arise from visiting activities found through our platform
  • We don't guarantee the Service will be available at all times

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@funkie.si. We will process your request within one month.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Slovenia.

If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence.
